McKay rolling out Pure line

Designs will debut at TODL’s Green Design Pavilion in Atlanta

CLEARWATER, Fla. – Designer and TV celebrity Ami McKay will be introducing Pure — her new custom line of sustainable furniture — at Trade Only Design Library’s Green Design Pavilion at the International Window Coverings Expo being held March 27 to 29 in Atlanta.

Pure’s Web site promotes the company’s eco-friendly personality.

McKay, known for her role on HGTV Canada's Makeover Wish, is the lead designer in her own residential and commercial design firm. McKay has specialized in eco-design for over eight years.

"As a new eco furniture manufacturer, we wanted to present our sustainable and health-conscious furniture directly to designers,” said McKay. “TODL is the largest online trade-only (product research and specification) resource with a commitment to eco-conscious design — it seemed like the perfect partnership for Pure.

“The Green Design Pavilion is a wonderful opportunity to showcase Pure’s fresh take on high-design with a green twist."

The Pure line includes chairs, sofas, tables and beds in four style flavors — Earth, Air, Fire and Water. The furniture is produced in Vancouver, British Columbia, with eco-friendly woods and fabrics.

“We are excited to be providing the platform for Ami to launch her new environmentally-friendly furniture line,” said Jessica Alexander, vice president of TODL.com. “Ami's designs are an inspiration and a perfect complement to TODL’s initiative of bringing green design to the fore.”

The Green Design Pavilion will be a 50 by 30-square-foot exhibit. Included in the display will be a variety of green design alternatives for the home, including window coverings, flooring, furniture and soft goods.
